The House Science Challenge 15th March 2012

March 16, 2012 | | Comments Off

Karishma says:

On Thursday 15th March we did a science lesson in the whole of Upper School.  Mr Hitchcock showed us some experiments that worked.  He showed us that just 2 thin pieces of newspaper could break a wooden ruler!  And after he showed us another trick that he used a lighter to pop a balloon over Senya, then he got one that had water in, but it didn’t pop!

Later on every house had 3 teams which each had 30 art straws and 1 pair of scissors and some sellotape.  The house that won in the end was Victoria, 2nd Abbey and 3rd Knnighton.  Out of all the teams, Tia, Chris F, and Kurren won for the highest.  Every single prize was a big or small cream egg.
